Appeals and Applications to Terminate

Appeals

There is a right of appeal to the Crown Court against the making of a football banning order by magistrates in both criminal and civil cases.

Applications to Terminate

After two-thirds of the period of football banning order specified by the court has expired an application may be made back to the same court for it to be terminated. The court is entitled to consider the reasons why the order was made in the first place alongside the conduct of the applicant since the order was made.
